We Play Wii Play!

(Review From Amazon)
General Comments:
If your looking to buy a new controller, pay an extra £5 and get this fun game. This has some great two player and single player minigames even though it is meant to simply teach you the different methods of using the wii remotes!

Unless you can't afford it, there is no reason why if you want to get a wii remote, you won't add this to your wi collection!

Superb value - some smashing mini games

(Review From Amazon)
General Comments:
The object of Wii Play is to teach you how to use the Wii controller. It does this by taking you through a series of mini games and, once you have completed each one, they are all open to play whenever you like. Each uses a different "skill" of the controller.

Value for money:
Simple. Value is excellent. There are some great little games in this set, and as you get a Wii controller in the pack, with batteries, it is hard to see how it could be better value.

Crummy games:
The table tennis, the fishing, the racing and the pool games are all a bit, well, mediocre. I went through them to open each game up, but frankly I haven't been back since.

Great games:
The shooting gallery is utterly superb. Ridiculously simple and just so much fun in two player mode. the noise in my living room when I'm playing against my nine year old daughter is worthy of an apology to the neighbours. The laser hockey game is an Atari classic on steroids, enormously frustrating and yet almost too easy to go back to. The little tank game is so stupendously addictive that words can't describe. In fact, I'll have a quick go before bed.....

Overall this is a pretty good set, and nothing takes more than a few minutes per game. It turns the Wii into something to play in the advert break! An extra controller adds great value to Wii itself. What more do you want for this price?

Free Wii Remote + A Fiver for Games - Bargain

(Review From Amazon)
General Comments:
Sorry but those that have put this game down are totally missing the point. You get the Wii remote FREE and a few learning-curve games for a fiver. What more do you want.

The games are simple, fun and a few of them have good replay value. We pop this game in when we are showing someone the Wii for the first time and they find it easy to pick up and learn the basics of using the remote.

Silly fun - plus a second controller!

(Review From Amazon)
General Comments:
I wouldn't have paid £40 just for the games, but we mustn't forget that this set includes another controller so most of your money is being spent there. And another controller means that you can enjoy all of these littel games and the Wii Sports pack with your friends and family. Ah, social video gaming - what a concept.

It's funny readng other peple's reviews of this. For example, the last reviewer said he would probably never play the fishing again but enjoyed the pool - I'd definitely say the opposite! To me the pool is dull but the fishing is fun. And that's the point - you won't like all the mini games on here but there is definitely something for everyone and that is the essence of Nintendo's vision for the Wii.

I'd recommend this to every other Wii owner - and not just for the controller. The games are quick and simple burst of fun, with a medal-awarding system to boost replay value. Go on, give it a whirl!
